I don’t know how you have this effect, amma. Whenever you say “Do what you want, it’s your choice” in THAT voice, I just feel compelled to do what YOU want me to do. You should teach me that voice.

LOL..I want to learn that voice too. I remember my mom using ‘that’ tone but of course she had not read any of these books and yet the very tone will not work with my kid :/
I must confess it’s increasingly becoming a hit or miss with me as well. Help! the kids are catching on 🙂

I am accused of “Mom looks” but never a voice. Maybe I should work on building ‘that voice’. Would be a handy arsenal to deal with my on the brink of teen kids. 🙂
