Her: Of course, I do!
Me: But I’ll miss you sooo much. Why don’t I come with you?
Her: No amma, its only for kids. (*Eyes rolling*)
Me: Then why don’t you stay back with me…
Her: Amma, remember you already paid for it?
Me: Oh, forget that. What’ll I do without you for 3 days…
Her: Amma, I think it’ll do me good to spend some time away from you!

My 12yr old while going for her science camp had said… “Three days without you. ” I gave he a questioning look… and she added… “Amma, you always wanted a break, didn’t you?? Now if I am gone, you will be free. It’s like having a kids free holiday at home. ”
