Her: Of course, I do!
Me: But I’ll miss you sooo much. Why don’t I come with you?
Her: No amma, its only for kids. (*Eyes rolling*)
Me: Then why don’t you stay back with me…
Her: Amma, remember you already paid for it?
Me: Oh, forget that. What’ll I do without you for 3 days…
Her: Amma, I think it’ll do me good to spend some time away from you!
– He he he, it’s fun to have fun, especially if it’s at your 8 year old’s expense 😉
The best way to spread something is to use your fingers.
– Says my 8 year old as she gleefully plunges her hands into Nutella.
Note to self: Tuck away the lecture on table manners for another day, or err, year.
